Accountants, payroll bureaus, recruitment agencies and business groups can add A1RO's temp worker cost calculator to their own site for free. It keeps itself up to date with Irish rates, so your page is never out of date after a Budget.
Try it
This is exactly what your visitors will see:
Add it to your site
Paste this where you want the calculator to appear. It sizes itself to fit and works in WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow and plain HTML.
<div class="a1ro-calculator"><a href="https://a1ro.ie/tools/temp-worker-cost-calculator">Temp worker cost calculator (Ireland)</a> by A1RO</div> <script src="https://a1ro.ie/embed.js" async></script>
On a dark website, add data-theme="dark" to the first line: <div class="a1ro-calculator" data-theme="dark">.
If your site doesn't allow scripts
Some website builders strip out scripts. Use this instead; it doesn't resize itself, so it has a fixed height.
<iframe src="https://a1ro.ie/embed/temp-worker-cost" title="Temp worker cost calculator (Ireland) by A1RO" style="width:100%;max-width:640px;height:700px;border:0" loading="lazy"></iframe> <p><a href="https://a1ro.ie/tools/temp-worker-cost-calculator">Temp worker cost calculator (Ireland)</a> by A1RO</p>
What it does
- Works out the true cost of a temp or agency worker in Ireland: pay, holiday pay accrual, employer PRSI at the right band, MyFutureFund auto-enrolment and, for construction, CWPS.
- Shows the margin when a client charge rate is entered.
- Keeps itself up to date. It reads A1RO's Irish rates, which are checked every week against citizensinformation.ie and switch over on the day a new rate starts. Budget changes reach your site without you doing anything.
- Says when a rate is only announced, such as a Budget change that isn't law yet.
Private by design. The calculator sets no cookies and has no tracking. The figures your visitors type stay in their browser. A1RO only counts which website the calculator is on and how often it loads, never anything about the people using it.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no key and no charge. Please keep the small link to A1RO under the calculator.
Does it update when rates change?
Yes. It reads A1RO's Irish rates each time it loads. Those are checked weekly against citizensinformation.ie and switch over on the day a new rate starts, so Budget changes appear on your site automatically.
Does it collect any data from my visitors?
No. It sets no cookies and nothing visitors type leaves their browser. It loads the current rates from a1ro.ie, and A1RO counts your website's address and how often the calculator loads there, nothing more.
Can I change how it looks?
There is a light version and a dark version (add data-theme="dark"). It uses a plain system font so it sits in most sites. Email kevin@a1ro.ie if you need something else.
