For an Irish employer whose applications mostly come from Indeed, and who mainly needs to get every applicant into one place, move them through to hired, and keep tickets like Safe Pass and manual handling on file, a simple tracker built for that is usually enough. If you need a branded careers site, AI sourcing or posting to many job boards, a larger platform will suit you better.

What each one is built for
- A1ROHire is a custom applicant tracker, set up around each employer's stages, documents and systems, with features built when a customer needs them. It's built in Ireland for employers hiring operatives, assemblers, electricians and warehouse staff from Indeed. Applications arrive from your Indeed job ads on their own, each job has its own pipeline, and it keeps Safe Pass, manual handling, visa or IRP, ID and licences on each applicant with a warning before they expire. Hires can be handed to HR Duo as a new-starter file. Because it's part of A1RO, the same team can add AI screening and CV scoring as an add-on, register new starters through A1RO Go, and run their timesheets and pay in A1ROTime. Other HR and payroll systems that have an API can be connected, set up for you by A1RO.
- Breezy HR is a small-business applicant tracker with a free plan for one job, and flat-price plans with unlimited users.
- Workable combines recruiting and HR in one system, priced by how many employees your company has rather than how many people use it.
- Tellent Recruitee is built for collaborative hiring with unlimited users, with careers sites and multi-board job posting.
- Teamtailor focuses on employer branding and careers sites, with unlimited users and job postings, priced by quote.
Where A1ROHire is not the right fit
- You want a branded careers website, or to post one job to many job boards at once. A1ROHire takes applications from Indeed and from CVs you add; it doesn't build careers sites.
- You want AI to search the web or LinkedIn for people who haven't applied. A1ROHire works with the applicants who come to you; AI screening and CV scoring are an optional add-on, and your team makes every decision.
- You have a large team who all need their own login. A1ROHire is priced per user, so once a team gets big, systems with one flat price and unlimited users can cost less.

How does A1ROHire's price compare?
A1ROHire is €50 a user a month with no setup fee and the first month free, so a team of three pays €150 a month. The other systems here charge one price for the whole company: Breezy HR from $157 a month, Tellent Recruitee from €270 and Workable from $299. For a small team A1ROHire usually costs less; for a large team, a flat price with unlimited users can work out cheaper.
Can A1ROHire be changed to fit how we hire?
Yes. A1ROHire is a custom applicant tracker. We set it up around your stages, the documents you keep on applicants and the systems you hand hires to, and when your team needs something it doesn't do yet, we build it. Tell us how you hire and we'll show you what that looks like.
Do applicants have to apply differently?
Not with A1ROHire. Candidates apply on Indeed as they do now, and each application arrives in A1ROHire under the right job.
Can I keep Safe Pass, manual handling and visa documents on applicants?
In A1ROHire, yes: tickets and documents are kept on the applicant with a warning before anything expires. For other systems, check with the vendor which document types and reminders they support.
Does A1ROHire use AI?
Not unless you want it to. On its own, A1ROHire reads contact details and tickets from CVs by fixed rules. AI screening and CV scoring are an optional add-on from A1RO, priced separately; scores are advice only and your team makes every hiring decision.
